CTCP PLATES

CTP is the current widely used method for plate making but in the last few years, CTCP technology is grabbing great attention. It can be just called the PS version on CTCP plates. It has many advantages over CTP plates.

The first advantage is that PS plates can be used in manufacturing CTCP plates which reduces the final operational and maintenance cost significantly. CTP plates use laser heads and they have to be changed regularly and the cost is very high. But CTCP plates use cheaper lamps as a light source which again makes it economical. Since it’s a new arrival, there is a doubt about its print quality but many people admit that there is no such quality difference between the CTP and CTCP plates.
